Hopper Communities Launches Second Phase of South End Community
New phase at SouthPoint development will feature 33 townhomes
Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 12, 2017 — Residential developer Hopper Communities has launched sales for a second phase at SouthPoint, its successful townhome community in South End.
Located at the intersection of Remount Road and SouthPoint Commons Court, between South Tryon and Youngblood streets, the second phase of SouthPoint will consist of 33 townhomes within seven buildings. With prices starting in the high $300,000s, the two- and three-bedroom units will range in size from 1,313 square feet to 2,039 square feet.
As with the first phase, the new units will feature a contemporary architectural style and modern interior design with expansive windows, hardwood floors, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. All of the three-story units will include two-car garages, and all floorplans include options for rooftop terraces with uptown views for outdoor entertaining.
Just two blocks from the New Bern light rail station and walkable to South End’s breweries, retail and restaurants, the second phase will be adjacent to and connected with the first phase of SouthPoint, which is located at the intersection of Youngblood Street and Poindexter Drive. Launched two years ago, that initial phase of 53 townhomes is nearly sold out, with only two remaining units available.
“We started SouthPoint two years ago with the belief that there simply weren’t enough for-sale options in South End,” says Bart Hopper, founder of Hopper Communities. “The market response has been tremendous, and we look forward to introducing this second phase to buyers who want to make their home in one of Charlotte’s most popular neighborhoods.”
Hopper Communities will host a launch event for interested buyers at the site on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jill Miller and Kevin Thompson with Helen Adams Realty are handling sales. For more information, please visit www.southpointatsouthend.com.
